KEYNOTES AND CORPORATE MEDITATION SESSIONS

KEYNOTE SPEAKER | AUTHOR | VEDIC MEDITATION TEACHER
FIND THE STRENGTH WITHIN

Powerful stories. Practical wisdom. A new way to meet pressure, change and adversity.

Sarah Susak brings together lived experience, more than two decades in corporate life, the philosophy behind her book YOURU, and the practical wisdom of Vedic meditation to help people discover a more reliable source of strength: themselves.

Warm, candid and often very funny, Sarah's keynotes move beyond inspiration.

Audiences leave with a new perspective on what it means to be resilient, self-led and steady when life - or work - does not go according to plan.

SOME OF THE GREAT PARTNERS I HAVE WORKED WITH

WHY SARAH?

Sarah Susak has spent her professional life in high-pressure corporate environments and her personal life learning what happens when control disappears altogether.

She is General Manager of Legal and Corporate Affairs, an author, a mother and the founder of Medi Steady Go, where she teaches Vedic meditation. Her path to that work was not by chance but rather through challenge. A rare and deadly head and neck cancer diagnosis, later recurrence in her lung, and a subsequent health crisis leaving her paralysed from the neck down and on life support forced Sarah to confront fear, uncertainty and the limits of looking outside herself for security and healing.

That journey became the foundation of her first book YOURU - Find the Guru Within You: an exploration of what changes when we stop outsourcing our worth, happiness and search for answers, and begin developing a steadier source of authority within.

On stage, Sarah brings those worlds together. She understands burnout, executive pressure, competing responsibilities and the relentless pace of modern working life. She also knows what it is to have life unexpectedly interrupt the plan completely.

The result is a speaking style that is human rather than preachy, practical rather than prescriptive, and deeply personal without losing sight of the audience. Sarah uses storytelling,  humour and ancient wisdom translated for modern life to help people leave the room asking a more useful question: not 'How do I control everything around me?' but 'How do I become steadier within myself, whatever happens next?'

MY SIGNATURE KEYNOTES

YOURU: STOP OUTSOURCING YOUR POWER

What if the person you've been waiting for to give you the answers is you?

We are taught to look outward for approval, certainty, success and even happiness: to our parents, partners, careers, appearance, experts and society.

Sarah did exactly that - until life forced her to question whether any external source could ever provide a permanent sense of security or fulfilment.

Based on the central philosophy of her book YOURU - Find the Guru Within You, this keynote is about reclaiming inner authority without rejecting the value of teachers, experts, relationships or community.

It is a practical and provocative exploration of self-leadership: learning from the world around us without handing it the keys to our sense of self.

Audiences explore how to:

  • recognise where they may be outsourcing confidence, worth or decision-making;

  • separate external feedback from internal identity;

  • strengthen self-trust while remaining open to expertise and collaboration;

  • move from validation-seeking and reactivity toward conscious choice;

  • lead themselves with greater clarity, accountability and courage;

  • discover their own power to remove darkness.

FIND YOUR STEADY

You don't need a quieter or less busy life. You need a steadier place from which to live it.

Modern working life rewards action: more thinking, more doing, more responding, more output.

Sarah knows that world intimately. She also discovered that relentless doing is not the same thing as performing at your best.

Drawing on her corporate career, Medi Steady Go and her study and practice of Vedic meditation, Sarah introduces an accessible approach to inner stability, presence and conscious action.

Ancient Vedic ideas are translated into language that makes sense in a boardroom, conference room or offsite - without requiring anyone to become a monk, retreat to a cave or abandon their inbox.

Audiences explore how to:

  • understand the difference between constant mental activity and clear thinking;

  • understand the difference between the stressful situation and the stress response;

  • meet pressure from a steady and calm internal baseline;

  • do less and accomplish more;

  • use presence and meditation as a performance advantage;

  • take calm, conscious action back into busy work and life.

This keynote can include a short guided meditation experience and can also be expanded into a practical corporate meditation or Vedic wisdom workshop.

THE DAY THE PLAN CHANGED

A cancer story — but ultimately a story about what happens when life forces you to change the plan.

Most of us build our lives around an assumption of control — until illness, loss, change, uncertainty or one unexpected phone call reminds us how fragile that control can be.

In this deeply human keynote, Sarah shares the defining moments that tested her own certainty and the lessons she learned about meeting adversity without allowing it to become her identity.

From a life-threatening cancer diagnosis just one year after becoming a mother, through treatment, recovery, recurrence and the challenge of learning to live with uncertainty, Sarah's story is ultimately not about cancer. It is about what happens when the life you thought you were living suddenly changes — and how we can adapt, pivot and find strength and self healing power we may not have known we possessed.

With candour, humour and vulnerability, Sarah explores why resilience is not about pretending everything is fine, relentless positivity or simply "bouncing back". It is about learning how to move forward and take action when you cannot control the outcome — and discovering that some of our greatest periods of growth can begin with the moments we would never have chosen.

Audiences will explore how to:

  • Meet unexpected change without allowing it to define who they are;

  • Distinguish genuine resilience from simply pushing through or "being strong";

  • Focus less on controlling the outcome and more on choosing how they respond;

  • Adapt when the original plan is no longer available;

  • Find an internal source of strength when circumstances outside them feel uncertain;

  • Reframe adversity not as the end of the story, but as an invitation to write the next chapter differently.
